Q Clinic
Seamless human-centered mobile app to improve user experience when visiting family clinics.
As part of Boston Consulting Group's RISE Digital Sales and Marketing Programme, we were tasked with tackling community issues such patient experience at family clinics.
PROBLEM
Visitors to family clinics fear long wait times as it increases exposure to illnesses especially for the vulnerable, and disrupts working schedules.
SOLUTION
Designed a seamless end-to-end clinic visit mobile app wireframe for further development.
Our solution has 3 goals:
Expedite
Enable users to see the doctor as soon as possible.
Exposure Minimisation
Minimise users' exposure to an environment with high illness potential.
Ease
Ease the burden of assessing the need of a clinic visit, booking an appointment, arranging transport, payment and remembering prescriptions.
Homepage is designed with large icons with key clinic visit assessment function right at the top for the easiest access.
AI powered facial recognition helps give an initial assessment of users' condition.
Tele-consultation provides another layer of assessment before deciding to book a physical appointment.
Wait times and queue status are updated in real time so users arrive just in time for the consultation.
App integrates transport APIs like Google Maps and Grab Taxi to allow users to get to the clinic conveniently and on time.
Integrated payment and medication reminder functions improve adherence and reduces stress.
RESULTS
Ranked in the top 2 out of 10 groups for creativity and application of human centred design principles.
